This is the result of last week of One Four Challenge created by Robyn.
The journey have been exciting and the joy of finding new ways of seeing the same image have been challenging ..and have stretched the imagination..
Not everyone will like the same version as taste is…very personal !!..but it would be great to see which of the four version is your favorite by voting here:

So hard to choose between 1 & 4, went for 1 for the intensity of colour. Each interpretation is lovely and all have their very unique mood.

Like looking into different seasons of the same place! Really cool. I like the blustery week 3. There is a lot of emotion in that version that I appreciate. Each one tells a really beautiful story.

This is a journey of exploration..some photos will be good others will be average..it’s the discovery along the way that matters..

Great idea, showing the differences that processes can make. For me interpretation 1 is the winner as it stays truest to what may have been the original scene. This said, there is something about interpretation 3 as it adds extra drama but, as someone who likes the image to be as perceived at the time, it is not for me. PS Thanks for your comment.

Thank you for your comment here and it’s great to hear your voice on this particular challenge ..which is set to push creativity and ones comfort zone. I do like and agree with your idea of staying close to the original ..but let me ask you how else do you show creativity and stretch the imagination if you are not bold and daring in your approach ? This particular exercise requires to come up with 4 different images from the original..so if they all stay close to the original (but with minor changes like desaturation, vibrancy, vignette, B&W..etc) ..the purpose of the exercise will be a bit lost.
What do you think ? (..again, I love the opportunity of exchanging ideas and debates!)πππ
cadephotographic said:
Absolutely. For the purpose of the exercise it has done the job. When I shoot, I do shoot some creative images but do it through different angles and long exposures with light painting etc. If I’m honest, I think I’m still trying to find the right balance between being creative post process and staying true to what I saw at the time. One for the new year maybe…

I thought of putting myself in precisely this position in December One Four Challenge and see if i can stay as close to the image possibly ..Hope i will still make it interesting..))
